Kiwi Can Jam

On Friday A Group Of Students from Glen Taylor School went on a bus to the Vodafone events center, Fourteen schools went there including us. When we got to the place we saw Mr  Numia and Miss Sadgrove. We divided ourselves into groups and we each got a box of pizza and drinks. We didn't have to get changed because we got changed at school. When we went inside there a lot of schools and a big screen it felt like the movies. We watched the other schools perform, We where the second to last group to perform we where scared but we did a prayer before we came up onto the stage. We felt hyped and proud so we knew we could do it. We had so much fun performing then we watched the last group perform then it was finally the end when we got to find out who the winners where, Glen Taylor School won a trophy for Integrity. We all went back on the bus and we were singing and dancing then we went home and that was the end.

Cross Country

Today Glen Taylor School did cross country, Cross country is when you run around your field or when you run around the block today our school ran the field and around the whole block around our school. We all had to dress up in our house color's my house color is blue in our school we have 4 house color's and it is Blue,Yellow,Green and Red. Today everyone did a good job when other year groups finished they sat down on the hall deck and cheered for the other people running to the finish line. Running is very good for you so keep on trying hard to get faster and faster goodbye.

              

Miss Trunchbull

Miss Trunchbull is based on a movie called Matilda she is the principal in the movie. She is described as Mean,Malevolent,Nasty,Vindictive and Unkind she is a principal who gets mad at little innocent kids. We have learnt about miss Trunchbull a lot of people in my class have also learnt a lot about descriptive writing. She is a person having or showing or strong or evil relationship and wanting to give back revenge.
