Last Day Of Technology - Plants

Today was my Tech's groups last day of science, So today we were working on Plants. Today we focused on leaves and the cells of them,We learnt that when the Stomata opens it lets the carbon dioxide come in then closes it. We also learnt that when the water goes in the roots it comes through the vascular bundle which is a hollow tube the water goes through then comes inside the leaf. Did you know that those little veins in the leaf is for spreading the water throughout the leaf?

Tech - Cottage Pie

Today At Tech We Made A Cottage Pie 

Here's The Ingredients You Will Need:

Step 1 - Cut The Vegetables 

Step 2 - Peel The Potatoes,Slice & Mash

Step 3 - Fry Mince With Vegetables 

Step 4 - Put The Mince And Vegetables In The Tin Foil Bowl

Step 5 - Put Some Mashed Potatoes On Top

Step 6 - Repeat Step 4 To Step 5

Step 7 - Bake For 15 Mins 180c

Today we made a chicken soup with Indian sauce this is how we made it  

Roast Chicken With Indian Sauce

Step 1- Dice The Onion And Fry Until Soft

Step 2-Add The Chicken For 5 Mins And fry For 5 Mins

Step 3- Add The Sauce And Simmer (Low Heat)

For 15 Mins

Every Wednesday the year 7 & 8's go to Tamaki college to learn things at tech. I am in the year 7 group in the year 7 group we cook things and eat them at the end in this photo you can see that we made silver corn beef with other vegetables. Every term we have to pay 10  dollars which means 1 dollar a week but if we want to we could pay 40 dollars for all four terms.
