Dance mat typing

Today we had guided reading and my group activity was to do dance mat typing. It was really fun I kept on trying to not look at the key board but I just had to.

Quality blog

I have been learning how to make a quality blog post so i will learn how to make a perfect blog post 

so it will be interesting i will get better and better every time people see it. 

Cross country

Today was a really fun day we got to run around our school. I had to do only two laps. I was so tired but I never gave up and I kept on trying. Sometimes I walked then I looked behind me and other people were catching up so I ran as fast as I could. I was very proud of myself because I came
in 5th place. I was happy that I came something near one two or three. Because sometimes its not all about winning its about having fun. 

My hight

Today in maths we did length and weight 

Did you know my Hight is 152 cm And my 

weight is 32.3 After we lengthen everybody in our group we had 
to write it down we showed our teacher and she said yes 
we were so happy.

Maritime museum

On Tuesday 15 august we went to 

maritime museum  and did some fun 

stuff we also went on a fairy  boat it was cool but i got a headache

it hurt so much but finally when we got to go outside it went away 

we all had a parent and we were in groups i was with Mrs parson

she was very nice when we got back to school it was nearly lunch time so that was the end of our trip

Assembly Room 9

In our assembly we did two songs help me help you and stand by me

Almost done creating a volcano

Today we did some volcanoes by using hot glue and newspaper we used a bottle.

We had fun creating our volcano. I'm so excited to get to the next part because we are going to paint.

Duffy Assembly

Today we went to a Duffy assembly and a lady called gorgie  gave out the books.

We asked here how she got inspired and also when did she start.

gorgie started playing rugby when she was 18 years old. gorgie's favourite colour is green Her mum forced her to play netball she really wanted to play ruby so she join that too.Her favourite Rugby player is Richie miku. When we got back to class we opened our box full of books i got Night of the living dummy and i got bullies and buddies i got two new books i wanted

preparing for film festival

This morning we did some ideas for our filming 

my filming is about floods. We practised our 

speeches so we don't  fail in our filming.

so we could put it on the green screen.

we also had images of floods and heavy rains

Counting money in maths

Today we counted some money and it was a little hard with the 20 cents and 50 cents but we won two times i was in a group with tanisha,lenitah and coree and thats what  we did this in maths 

Book day characters

Today we did some paintings and drawings we did it so we can have 

some things for our book costumes for tomorrow. I am going to be a minion and 

other people are going to be minions,power rangers and star wars people. 

This was so fun and a little bit hard cutting.

Buddy Class

My buddies name is Easter 

in our buddy class we had to

help them to paint and cut there paper 

and we had to tell them what to write. 

Easter's favourite colour is pink, 

Easter's  favourite princes is snow white, 

Easter's  favourite  super hero is wonder woman.

Bubblegum dance crew

In bubblegum dance crew it was cool because we got to wear mufti clothes too 

it was very cool watching them they did  a lot of  cool moves like back flips,front flips and the splits 

everyone said wow because no one in the whole school can't do that they did a lot of cool songs that people liked  there ages was to 11 to 13 we even got to take a photo at the end everybody had to do there crowns some people could not do it cause there one was cricked and some were not and that was what we did at bubblegum dance crew. 

Exiting news!

when I went to my class I felt nervous,exited and scared at the same time. Then I showed my whanau my whanau was proud of me because he saw all of the hard work I was doing during class time.

as soon as I came home I showed my auntie she said wow then I went and did my homework.

Keyboard shortcuts

We learned how to do shortcuts on our chrome books so we can do our work faster and we can go on our things like a pro. We also learnt some other things like kawa of care and smart learners, and those are some of the things that we have learnt. 

Me being crazy in the hall!

This is my favourite place to go because sometimes we do Zumba here. it is really fun and you can watch kids Assembly's and see what they have been learning in their class. Did you know that The first school hall that was first built was in 1897? They built halls so people or kids can present their assembly or to do other things.

Talofa lava & Hello everyone! my name is Angelyn and welcome to my blog. I am a year Eight girl at Glen Taylor School, I am 13 years old. I am Samoan,European,Irish & Scottish. I have one brother and three sisters and they have all attended Glen Taylor school. I love learning at Glen Taylor school because we learn lots of new things. My favorite color is red. I am very good at reading and dancing. I enjoy Cleaning,walking,social media and learning. What I would want to achieve would be to get to a high standard and make my parents proud. I am also looking forward to learn more square roots and other things I don't know yet. My Teacher is Miss Tupou she is a lovely teacher, She always makes our learning fun and challenging. My goal for this year is to be a role model to younger students to show them whats right and whats not.
